For the uninitiated, a guitar may seem like just a guitar. Sure, you may be aware there’s a difference between an electric and a non-electric or acoustic guitar. Other than this basic distinction, there are many different types of guitars. For example, classical guitarists use a different type of guitar than country or rock musicians. Jazz musicians many times select a different type than country musicians. To further complicate matters, electric guitars can have either a solid or a hollow body.
